Configuring general settings

The General Configuration page allows you to set defaults and other setup configuration options to use throughout Axiom Cost Accounting.

The General Configuration page includes the following settings:

• Cost behavior exceptions - Allows you to override the fixed versus variable percentages for a cost category for a specific department or account, for a range of departments or accounts, or by entity.
• System account ranges - Allows you to set the account ranges for pseudo-accounts within departments that are used to offset costs in source departments and write costs to receiving departments.

You can also view the default cost item code and prefix.
